The Model AH actuator is a piston-type actuator mounted on a reverse-acting gate valve, designed to be “fail-closed”. Recommended for use in high-pressure and large-bore applications, this hydraulically controlled actuator operates using a closed hydraulic system completely independent of well fluids and pressure.
Features:
l In the event of a fire, the metal-to-metal seal between bonnet and lower stem acts as a secondary seal if the stem packing is damaged.
l Has a back-seat test port and packing leak detection port.
l Professional high-pressure lifting type self-sealing packing to increase the service life.
l The seal between gate and seat are sprayed by tungsten carbide to achieve non-leakage.
l Hydraulic piston is hard chromed for corrosion resistance.
